Why are you writing a blog?
I graduated without a job and, being a workaholic, decided to set myself a personal project: write a weekly blog about Japan. I love to write and I love Japan, so this seems to be the perfect solution.
When does the blog come out?
Typically, Friday evening is when the blog is updated. Sometimes I have to take time off and, if this happens, there will be a very apologetic post.
How long does it take to write each week?
Anywhere between 3 to 6 hours, depending on how much research I do. I tend to write little bits of next week’s blog over time, otherwise writing that much in one go would kill me!
What’s your favourite anime series?
If it’s not already blatantly obvious by the way I name drop it every other week, Sengoku Basara. Other runners for the title are Tiger & Bunny and Baccano!
You have written something incorrect or biased or have linked to my website without permission. How do I complain?
Please email sophiesjapanblog@live.co.uk
Have you been to Japan before?
Yes, twice. The first time was September 2010 when I travelled around Tokyo, Kyoto, Miyajima Island, Yudanaka and Hakone with my mum. I also went to Tokyo for a week with two friends in June 2011.
Are you looking for contributors?
If you have an idea, I’d be happy to hear it! Sometimes, it’s a bit of a task to produce a lot of good content each week, so send something my way and I would of course credit you.
Where are you from?
Manchester, north west England.
How can I contact you?
Email sophiesjapanblog@live.co.uk
This is the precise weblog for anybody who needs to seek out out about this topic. You understand a lot its virtually laborious to argue with you (not that I truly would need…HaHa). You positively put a new spin on a subject thats been written about for years. Nice stuff, simply nice!
